As many of you probably know, the era between 1945 and 1991 - a period of military and ideological competition between the capitalist United States and the communist Soviet Union - was known as the Cold War.
On this site, we will mainly focus on the intelligence and spying during the Cold War era, since that period marked the most advances in the fields of spying and intelligence services.
